I'm an amateur woodworker operating out of my garage shop. Most projects combine machine and hand tools, and I enjoy working with a wide range of wood species. I typically start each project by milling the raw material before getting into the joinery.
The shop has machines ranging from the late 1940's to modern day. I'm particularly drawn to older machines made from steel and cast iron. Beyond their excellent performance, older machines often have a certain charisma with curves and arches that you don't find in modern equipment.
